The Best New Features in PHP 5.4 and 5.5

PHP as a language has gained many new features over the past few years. PHP 5.4 still feels new, and yet PHP 5.5 is on our doorstep. We'll discuss some of the new features we are seeing in PHP including traits, closures, generators, and the built-in server. We'll also look at some of the new syntax sugar and dive into some practical use cases for all of these new features.
